“Ketchup are the bomb. They have a great sense of design, a gift for writing, and the sort of intuition that only comes with experience.”

Born & Raised
Car Next Door have an immediately recognisable brand: a little family of cartoon people that adorn each of their vehicles. We leveraged this by bringing the main character into the third dimension, in the form of a rascally little puppet.

Noted
- We kept the budget under control by minimising crew, and shooting on a suburban street.
- Of course, shooting on a suburban street has its own set of challenges. We dealt with noise, nosy neighbours, changing light and a gigantic lion prop that refused to fit into a car.
- This was our first time working with a puppet (Terence). We were expecting a massive ego, but he was actually pretty laid back.
